This week our children of kindergarten in Mezzegra had fun making the pastry chefs and with two moms have created some delicious honey biscuits.
Flour 00 350g
Brown sugar 120g
Acacia honey 100g
zest of a lemon
milk (a few tablespoons)
First sift the flour, then add the melted butter, honey, brown sugar, grated lemon zest, egg and milk (2 to 3 tablespoons). Mix well and knead the mixture at least 10 minutes until it is well homogeneous.
Roll out the dough so as to obtain a sheet high 1/2 centimeters and give form to biscuits. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C for about 15 minutes.
