Introduction

Insalata caprese is an appetiser that originated in the cuisine of Campania, composed of quality ingredients that when put together create a true must of Italian cuisine: tomato, mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, oregano and fresh basil.

Just think that this recipe was born in Capri in 1920 on the occasion of a dinner organised for the poet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, founder of the Futurist manifesto.

Preparation: 5 minutes
