A genuinely central base

From here the lake opens up in every direction: Bellagio lies straight across the water, Menaggio and Varenna are a few minutes away by boat, and Como and Lugano are under an hour's drive. It is the perfect base for exploring without long journeys every day.

The lake's loveliest villas, just around the corner

Villa del Balbianello, with its terraced gardens on the Lenno headland, and Villa Carlotta, with its botanical park and camellias, are both minutes away. Two of the most photographed places on Lake Como, practically on your doorstep.

The Greenway of Lake Como

The scenic path linking the villages runs right past here: you walk among historic villas, olive groves, little churches and glimpses of the water, with no traffic and no effort. It is the loveliest way to discover the area on foot.

Bellagio and Varenna, without the crowds

Bellagio and Varenna are beautiful, but very busy in summer. Staying in Tremezzina, you can visit whenever you like (just a few minutes by boat), then come back to somewhere peaceful, where in the evening all you hear is the lake.

Getting around is easy

Boats and ferries connect all the main villages, buses run along the lakeside road, and the residence's free parking means you can leave the car untouched for days. Many of our guests get around for their entire stay without using it once.
