Your own spot by the pool
A pool at a small property has one advantage the big hotels cannot offer: there is no race for a sunbed. In summer the spot is already yours.
An assigned spot for every apartment
Through the summer season each apartment, Casa Emy included, is given a spot by the pool with a parasol and a sun lounger. There is nothing to book and nothing to claim at dawn: it is always there.
That is why the pool actually gets used here. Anyone who has spent a holiday checking whether a lounger was free understands the difference straight away.
Open from April to the end of October
The pool is open from April to the end of October, so it covers the shoulder seasons too, when the lake is at its best and most visitors are not around.
On a sunny day in April or October the poolside is the quietest place on the property: you read, you look at the lake, and nobody is competing for the space.
The garden around it
The pool looks out over the lake and is surrounded by the shared garden, open to every guest whichever apartment you book.
It is where the days end: you come back from a walk or a boat trip, you stop by the pool, and the holiday carries on without going out again.
